Jay has worked at the intersection of finance and technology for his entire career. He has supported dozens of early-stage start-ups establish, build and scale from seed stage all the way through to IPO. He has supported executive teams in hardware, semiconductors, software and blockchain to build finance, strategy, investor relations and sales organizations.
Jay has held senior roles at Peregrine Semiconductor (now part of Murata) and Qualcomm. At Peregrine, Jay established the Investor Relations and Corporate Development functions, and also creating the communications strategy that helped drive a four fold increase in the company’s stock price. At Qualcomm, Jay worked in the data center group crafting M&A, sales and partnering strategies. As a financial analyst and later as a consulting CFO to technology start-ups, Jay has participated in almost 30 IPOs, and dozens of fund raising rounds.
Jay lived in China for ten years and maintains close ties to the Asian Electroinics Complex. He has been visiting and doing business in the region for over 30 years and today provides strategic procurement strategies for US-based clients looking to harden their supply chains.
